Admission and requirements
Admission Requirements
- Master's degree from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education, Thailand
- GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.00 scale
- AU English Proficiency Test and interview
Graduation Requirements
- Complete all courses of the curriculum
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
- Pass the English proficiency test
- Pass the qualifying examination
- Propose the dissertation and pass the final oral defense (open to the public), evaluated by a committee approved by the University
- Dissertation published or accepted for publication in a national or international journal per OHEC regulations
- Obtain library and financial clearance from the University
- Demonstrate good conduct and discipline

- Three photographs (1 × 1.5 inch, formal attire, not in graduation gown)

English Test Exemption
- TOEFL iBT 90 or PBT 575 (valid 2 years)
- IELTS Academic overall band 6.5 or above (valid 2 years)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand
- AU-EPT Exemption Applicants who do not meet the above scores may take the AU English Proficiency Test (AU-EPT) administered by the Graduate School.
